Question Anybody have sagging headliner behind the sunroof?

just curious because i'm trying to fix it and i'm having some trouble.. the roof lining is sagging at the rear part of the sunroof... anybody who has had this problem and a successful long term fix, please chime in and help me out.. thanks

Glue or epoxy either will not bond velcro to metal or it's not heat resistant, when i stick the heavy duty velcro on there, with the way it's shaped in there, it's hard to get a good grip together and it always comes undone after a few minutes. very frustrating..

How to remove the roof lining?

Looking to possibly remove the roof lining in the car to inspect an issue that I'm having (sagging lining at the rear part of the sunroof). Is it held in by clips? Where should I start taking it apart? Any tips/tricks? Any help or "how to" is appreciated. Thank you!

Had my appt this morning to request my good will service on the roof liner. The service adviser said they will have a decision this afternoon or tomorrow. He also mentioned that good will consideration includes how often you visit the dealership for work etc, however, I explained to him that I have only had the car for two months. Furthermore, being new to the area, I haven't really had time to create a dealership relationship in Florida. Keeping my fingers crossed. Will post more information as it happens!

They denied my goodwill repair because of the mileage of my car (118k) and because I had not had any service done at that facility. He told me it's not something they see very often and they weren't even aware of that TSB. Lame. Cost is $140 to repair but comes with a warranty. Thanks Acura.

I purchased a 2006 TL a couple of months ago and didn't notice the headliner cloth separating (sagging) near both sides of the rear windows, and then after inspection, it's sagging just about everywhere. Not too happy about this since the headliner in my 2000 TL is still perfect. More than likely I would get the same results (denied) as TheDingo.

During my next service I'll ask about a service bulletin and the possibility of goodwill repair. For me I've had my 2000 TL serviced by the dealer for many years. Perhaps that will help.
