ANNOYING noise from radio area

when i drive and go over the slightest uneven road I am getting this weird noise from the cd/radio area. I have a non navi TL and recently got the iSimple installed and ever since whenever i go over bumps or even minimal bumpy roads its like like something is loose or screeching. Its a weird explanation but really sounds like mice making their weird ass noise or something. This is driving me crazy..the sound was there before i got the iSimple install but it seems like its gotten worse. I feel like something is loose back there like a screw but I have no way of checking unless i take everything apart. Anyone have this problem? I am getting a navi conversion done in 3 weeks so i guess I will have to wait till then to make sure everythings tight but just wondering if anyone has had this problem

Rattles and sounds can vary greatly from car to car, but I had a similar issue and it drove me INSANE. It would happen when the car was parked outside all day at school in the cold and it literally was the loudest rattle I've ever heard. So I pulled the two silver trim pieces off that run along side the center console.

There are TWO bolts (one on each side) on the side of the navigation headunit that you can see once the silver trim pieces are off. These are what need to be tightened. Their approximate location is just above the volume and channel knobs. I know these directions suck, and I can provide pics if no one understands. I'm pretty sure these bolts are there regardless of navigation or not.

Is your phone next to or under the radio?

when the car is not moving or going over a smooth road there is no sounds. But over bumps i hear that sound from the radio. At first i thought it was coming from the compartments so i will try to empty all the compartments and see if it stops. I am doing a navi conversion next month so will have everything open and make sure all the screws are real tight
