Question Alignment Issue

I got wheel alignment three months ago due to my front wheels pulling to the left. Everything was working fine until I did tire rotation a few days ago. This time, my front tires pull to the right. Just wondering if I have to re-align the front tires again? Or maybe the shop did something wrong when they rotated the tires?

you may have either rotated the tires incorrectly (Tires may be directional) or the tire may be bad and causing the pull to the left/right depending on where it's mounted. Check both first!

How do I know whether the tires are directional? I am on Continental DWS Extreme tires.

Could you please elaborate a bit more about the tires being bad. Like, the tire is defective, or is it just how it's built?

Depending on how long you drove your car while needing an alignment, you might have tires with uneven wear. Having those tires in the rear will hide the vibration/noise, plus rear wheels dont turn. Now that you have them in front they are trying to walk all over the place.

The DWS is not directional, despite the asymmetric tread. Directional tires will have arrows on the sidewall showing the direction of rotation.

IIRC, several members have returned new or almost new DWS tires due to balance issues, likely due to production defects. This can happen with every brand and model of tire, but is less common with some tires than others.
Older tires can begin pulling due to internal damage, belt separation or uneven wear.

Have you checked the tire pressure?
