alarm not stopping

sup guys im fairly new to this thing but i was hoping somebody could help me out here and help me asap!

well i went to my car last night and disarmed the alarm so i could get in, well while i disarmed the car the alarm went off and i tried to disarm it but it wouldnt shut up. so i pulled the plugs from the battary and waited did the whole trick when u touch the positive and negative to each other and when i plugged them back in the alarm was still going off. any idea whats wrong and how to fix it?

do keep in mind that i have a aftermarket alarm but thats not the alarm thats going off its the stock alarm and i dont have the stock alarm pads.

Lock all the doors. Open hood and connect battery. Alarm should sound. Take key and turn key in driver door slot to unlock door. The alarm should stop.
