Have you recently taken apart your center console for something? to install a radio perhaps?

Welcome to the forums.

Since this is a topic/technical issue which will require replies, and not a "New Member Introduction", this thread has been moved to the model specific forum.

When you turn the key to the accessory position (II) or start the car, the blower motor fan blows the air to the max? This happened to me two days ago and it wouldn't turn off even if I pressed the OFF button. I removed the glove box and took out the Blower motor resistor and it doesn't blow anymore. Makes me believe that my resistor went out. I already ordered one, will let you know if that was the problem.

Replacing the resistor solved the problem for me, so you might want to look into that if you have the same symptoms.

Will the blower motor resistor not make the compressor turn on? Cause my TL stopped blowing cold air and the fans went to high and when hitting the off button blower motor stays at high and no cold air... Please advise Acura Master Techs. I did the self diagnosis for the A/C and showing fault for blower motor..

Is it just lightly blowing or is the fan actually making noise and cranking out a significant amount of air? If the recirculate is off, you'll have some air constantly coming from the vents - more as your speed increases or if you have the sunroof or windows open. If that bothers you, turn on the recirculate then turn off the air and it will stop.

I'm assuming that you have the fan cranking out a lot of air but figured I'd mention it just in case.

So it was the blower motor resistor that was shorted causing the blower to blow on high and causing the A/C not to work.. it threw me off cause I i didn't know a blower motor resistor would not engage the compressor..

i did this (installed an aftermarket stereo) and I’m having the same issue. My climate control is illuminated, but no digital controls. And my air is full blast on defrost. Switching from hot to cold.
