AHH for the love of god help
I dinged my quarter pannel (about 3 dings 2 inches a piece) on the rear right wheel well. I took it to a guy and he said it would run me about 50 or 60 (holy shit!!). I have heard try using a rubber mallet or a dent popper. I am hesitant to either. I found the dent popper for 20 online (including shipping). 20 to fix a dent. HELL YEA. But I also heard it doesnt work if you dont know what the hell you are doing and could actually make it worse. What do you guys recommend?

Try using a toilet or sink plunger, depending on the dent size and location.
Soap up the area the plunger will cover before using it.
I've used this method before and it works fine on flat surfaces.

Actually he gave me the actual quote 325 OMG!!! He is going to have to take off the whole quarter pannel and redo it.. plus repaint it. This seems horribly unecessary. Jesus... Unfortunately I am no body expert, but I guess I will keep looking around.

Paintless dent removing service is the cheapest way. If you find a shop willing to remove, repair, and repaint the panel for much less than 300~, then I can almost guarantee they'll do a shitty job.

If the paint's chipped and/or badly scratched, then you should get it done since it'll only get worse & more expensive. If it's just dented, then you can leave it alone... who knows, it might get dinged/dented again.

Get it fixed correctly or leave it alone. If you take it to some alley guy:
1. Youu will be upset with the outcome
2. Broke
3. Still have at least one ugly spot
