Aftermarket sub buzzes when door is closed
Hey guys I'm in need of some help.
I just finished installing my two 10" subs in my 07 tl-s, i ran the power from the battery, installed the remote wire to an ignition fuse, and bolted the ground wire in 3 different spots already.
Oh and i also used a line output converter ( i believe that's what it's called), i tapped into the stock sub woofer wires and unplugged the stock sub.
Everything works fine and dandy when the ignition is turned on, but when i start the car the sub starts buzzing extremely loud but stops when i open any door/ even trunk.
Any suggestions on what it might be?

did you remove the rear microphone above the rear dome light assembly?
if not, remove that and see if it fixes it.

Hey guys i'm in need of some help again with the same problem.. My previous amp rca plugs stopped working so i pulled it out for about a week till i got a new amp. After installing the new amp i unplugged the rear microphone again and installed the amp the same way the previous one was installed and now the subs just buzz extremely loud no matter if the doors are opened/closed or if the stereo is on or off..
Any suggestions? I'm a bit confused on what's going on.

The 07-08 TL has active noise canceling. By tapping into the stock sub wires, you're running this right into your aftermarket sub.
I'm not sure how to bypass it if you're still having issues with the mic removed, someone else might chime in.

what are the settings on your amp? gains up too high?
turn all the gains down and see if it calms down the buzz noise and then recalibrate from there.

I turned them down all the way and it stopped buzzing, so i worked my way up and got it to where i liked it without the subs going crazy.. But as soon as i closed the trunk it went back to extremely loud buzzing.. Sounds like the problem i had before with the mic plugged in but now it's unplugged and i'm still having the same problem. Ugh i hate being an audio noob
