Smile Acura TSB 06-034 ''vehicle pulling or drifting''

My question to the members is has anyone had any luck fixing this problem with their car at the dealer with this TSB? Is it for cars under warranty or is there a charge for this to be done? After 2 years of owning my 05 auto im sick of the pulling. It did this when i bought it and after many alignments and inspections of all components this car still pulls to the left and i must have the wheel cocked slightly to the right all the time. the car has low miles,is pristine and has never been in an accident. '' CARFAX CERTIFIED'' i need some guidance here as other than this the car is an absolute joy to own and drive.

I've had several bad alignments. Have you switched shops?

Have you tried switching the left and right tires and seeing if the pull switches direction?

If it's aligned, the tires are good, and nothing is bent, it should go straight.

If it's aligned properly and no suspension damage it would be good to go.
Do you have the most recent alignment specs to post?

That TSB gets quite involved, even to the point of moving the subframe to gain some camber changes, but once again, it would depend on the present alignment specs to see if any out of the norm.

'' CARFAX CERTIFIED'' .....
From the TSB:

Out of warranty: Any repair performed after warranty
expiration may be eligible for goodwill consideration by
the District Parts and Service Manager or your Zone
Office. You must request consideration, and get a
decision, before starting work.
So you MIGHT be able to get good will.

IMHO, "Carfax Certified" is worth less than "CPO" and CPO is barely worth the paper it's written on. IMHO.

I had a pulling issue on the right of the car. Got the car aligned, balanced, new tires. I put on the Continental DWS and they were HORRIBLE. They switched the rims from one side to the other and I put on a set of Michelins, had the car balanced at Tire Rack headquarters, and the car drives perfectly straight. My pull was to the right though and was excessive, like would fly off the road.

Thanks for all of your input. My plan of action at this point is to get 4 new tires and have car aligned at dealer. Then insist on the TSB if it comes back less than perfect. I think at that point they would take ownership of the car not tracking straight and work until im satisfied. Wish me luck!

It's could be your tires. I'm having the same issue. Right after I got my Continetal DWS. The car started pulling to the right no matter what lane I was in. I had 3 alignements at different shops and they said everything is in spec. So they blame tires. It's annoying but it seems at though it's smoothing out after 1,000 miles.

Thanks for the input. Hey SKIBUM what Michelins did you put on? I might give them a try. Anyone else have a tire recommendation that will work well with the TL?
