Acura TL 07

so my TL has been dying every morning now , all lights and radio turn on but it won't turn over. Tested the alternator it claims to be going out I guess but can it possibly be the HFL? I'm tryna start the cheapest route. Also I need help getting access to my radio code

The search function is best bet when troubleshooting problems. Most likely battery drain is due to HFL like you said, theres videos on here how to unhook it. Your radio code should be inside of your glovebox along with the nav code. Good luck

welcome.

Go to google and add site:acurazine.com to the search like so: https://www.google.com/search?q=site...hrome&ie=UTF-8

if you tested the alternator and it claims to be going out, then why would you replace the HFL

Thank you . Idk I just thought it would be worth a try for a bit I don't wanna replace the alternator right now

I'm confused...you already figured out what the issue is but you don't want to fix it? And instead, try to look another cause?

1. Who tested the alternator?
2. If the person/shop who diagnosed the alternator failing is legit, why wouldn't you just replace it?
Yes cars cost money to maintain but it's worth the investment. If you properly maintain these cars they will go 300k miles+

I understand I have to replace it regardless but I wanted to remove the HFL and see if that would buy me a few days while looking for a good price on the alternator .
