Acura 2008 TL bank 1 sensor 1
Hi all,
I hope I’m posting this in the right spot because I can never seem to find my way to the right spot so I apologize if it’s in the wrong area. I am receiving an error to replace the sensor 1 at bank 1 and I’ve been looking online for sensors and wondering if anyone has heard of the brand Amrxuts?
Or if you have any suggestions of what brand I should buy. I’m also wondering if I should replace more of the sensors at the same time as that was suggested to me by someone else? Any suggestions??
OK and last question don’t laugh at me here I’m wondering if I can replace these myself?? I’m a female (not that girls can’t work on cars) I don’t usually work on cars but I am very crafty and stubborn and determined to figure things out so am I reaching here or do you think I could pull it off?
Thank you,
Michele

Not the right part of the forum but guessing one of the mods will move it soon. Never heard of that brand though, I'd personally just go with the OE sensors and replace both precat O2 sensors at the same time. If one is going bad, the other isn't far behind. I've never replaced one on an Acura but if you're handy with a set of wrenches, it's not bad to get them swapped out yourself. Do a search for some DIY instructions and you should be fine.

I would recommend sticking with Denso or NGK sensors. Can you it yourself? If you have the correct tools, absolutely. I replaced the front pre-cat sensor a while back...it was a bear. Soaked it for a week with PB Blaster and had to use an electric impact a few times to finally break it free. You will need to buy an O2 socket since there is rarely enough room in the engine bay for traditional wrenches.
I did NOT replace both of my sensors....although I should have. The amount of effort to get the front sensor was more than enough of a battle for me at the time. I wasn't willing to take on figuring out the rear sensor at the time. Should I have? Probably, but other priorities won.
