Hey guys,
Recently I started to notice a small rattle on 1st gear as I start my engine to take off from an . It seems as if it's coming from the bottom exterior of the car - not interior. This only happens once after I start my car from maybe 30 mins - 2 hours. It always happens first thing in the morning when I go to work etc.

Anyone else experiencing similar rattles?
It totally stops after I drive - never happens when I take off from a light or stop sign.

Please let me know what I should be looking for.

Man I've been having the same problem. Does it only do it when you initially drive of in the morning? It seems to come back for me when I leave work. It almost sounds and feels like the AC compressor kicking on but its not because my AC is off. Im'ma try to talk to my tech friend at Acura and see what he says.

Just had what sounds very similar repaired under warranty yesterday on 2006 6MT. Turns out the power steering fluid reservoir was loose from it's bracket. It had actually leaked some fluid so they provided new reservoir and new serpentine belt.
