6 Spd 3rd Gear Service Bulletin
Has anyone else heard about a newly released service bulletin on the 3rd gear problem? My dealer called me yesterday to say that he had just gotten a bulletin on it...Replacing "shift sleeve" and/or "synchronizer" with a new part.
I know I have read posts here about the woes of having the dealer take apart your transmission and new problems surfacing once its put back together, but if its an Acura approved fix for the 3rd gear problem I'm inclined to let them play with it.
Yes, I know that GM Sychromesh is the miracle cure, but until my TL is out of warranty I am not even thinking about going down that road so lets please keep transmission fluid changes out of this thread.
