3rd & 4th Gear Pressure Switches/Trans
Hey guys new to this website but have been reading these forums pretty much everyday since I bought my 05. Went to the dealer today and got my 3rd gear pressure switch replaced after a code was pulled due to flashing “d” light. Dealer replaced the switch and the tranny fluid. He insisted the 4th switch shouldn’t be replaced as no codes were pulled for it. Should I go back and still get it replaced? Mileage is at 130k and I really want this car to last a long time

Anyone ? Lol :/

No need to replace if your trans is shifting fine.

Got it. Might still replace the 4th as a preventative measure, also I still feel a slight pull when reaching speeds over 40-50 mph. Also do you know if dealers perform the full 3x3 drain and fill method or do they just drain once and fill up 3 quarts? |

Shops will only do 1x3 unless you tell them otherwise. |
