Hey everyone i am a new member to this website and this is my first thread ..

i jus bought a 2005 acura tl-s from my bro it had a few problems such as
-all mounts needed to be replaced asap.
-new lower control arms
-new power steering rack =/
-new axles

well thats most of it BUT now im loosing it cause im hearing and feeling a noise when pressing the gas pedal its not a constant noise.. just comes and goes it last for about 3 secounds its on my last nerve! it sounds like metal on metal grazing.
DOES ANYONE KNO WAT THIS IS?

 

first, there are no 2005 TL-S. you have a 2005 TL with a 3.2L engine.

2nd, you need to give us more details on the noise. its very hard to diagnose something(especially a noise) with limited info.

3rd, you bought it from your brother. He might have more info regarding the noise than us.

 

o0o ok didnt kno that, my bro did alot of modifying ..
it is a tl with 3.2 engine..as for the noise that best describes it i dont know whats causing it i to it to a shop they didnt hear anything i guess next stop is to the dealership but i herd the charge alot =(

 

Sounds like your brother beat the shit out of that car. Those are going to be expensive repairs. You mentioned he did some modifying, if he changed anything on the suspension, that could be the source of the issues with the axles and control arms.
