2nd Gear problem with 2007TLS 6MT - GM fluid is in
I've searched around but cannot find anyone who's having a problem with 2nd gear and has ALREADY put in the GM Friction Modified Fluid.
I had the GM fluid put in my 2007 TL-S around the end of last year and have not had one problem until about a week ago. My 3rd gear issue has not come back, it's shifting into 3rd like it should be. My problem is with 2nd gear - at times it will not go into 2nd gear at all. It feels like something is in the way and will not let me shift into 2nd. It usually happens when I'm driving slow (around 10 to 15 mph), I shift from 1st into 2nd and it just stops.... It's not like the 3rd gear issue where sometimes I could use a litte force and have it go in (I know, not good to force something like that). Usually if I wait a second or two and the car is still moving, it will go into 2nd with no problem. If I happen to stop the car at the time the gear is getting stuck, it will not correct itself until I move the car slightly forward.
I took it to the dealer today and went on a road test with the tech. I tried everything I've done in the past to duplicate it this morning but no luck.... the dealership said the issue has to be duplicated before they will address it. Typical response I've been getting from all Acura dealers anytime I mention the word transmission. When I was asking the tech questions, he said it's possible that I have a bad syncro (sp??). So this leads me to a couple of questions:
1. If it is a bad syncro, will the problem eventually get worse? I really hate to think about it getting worse but I have to duplicate it before Acura will fix it.
2. Has anyone else who is currently using the GM fluid experienced a problem like this?
3. I believe the TSB that was released is just for the 3rd gear issue, correct?
I really like driving the TL-S and had finally gained all confidence back in the ability to shift without a problem and then this issue with 2nd gear arises. If anyone could provide some insight, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance

I thought the 07+ TL-S had new trannies?? I'm not positive though

If the 07 TL-S do have new trannies, then they're experiencing the same issue as the old ones.... I did have the 3rd gear problem until I put the GM fluid in.
