Is the 2008 TL-S Automatic tranny plagued with problems? and also is there any recall for 2008 TL-S?

So far I've had headliner rattling problem during cold weather and some rattling behind the dash when driving on rough road and another wierd issue is when turning into a driveway at a moderate speed, when the tire touches the driveway, the brake pedal kinda pulsating like the ABS kicked in. Wierd

None that I've heard of. In fact, everything I've read indicates the transmission is actually very strong.

I have that headliner rattle too

I know that the dealer won't do sh*t about it so i don't even try.

I had my headliner fixed 15 times, then fully replaced..... Still sucks ass...

It's weird how the rattles come and go. I have all the rattles, the rear shelf, driver side AC vent/speaker, headliner, center console.

However, like 90% of the time the rattles are inaudible. Sometimes the driver side vent will rattle so loud and annoy the hell out of me. Then the next day it'll disappear even when I'm driving on really bumpy roads.

Do the rattles become more prevalent as the car ages? I only have about 2500 miles on my car right now. I hope the rattles don't escalate.

Overall the rattles and 3rd Gear MT problem are the 2 issues that annoy me about our TL-S. Everything else about the car is a blast.

The headliner rattling only happens in the morning when the weather is cold. Once the ambient temperature rise up, you can't hear the rattling anymore. I didn't hear the rattling when I bought the car but that was during Fall and weather was warm. Now I have 3006 miles on it.

I also think that the firmer TL-S suspension could've cause all this rattling.
