2006 Auto Transmission taking a 2 and CEL help

Currently my 2006 Acura TL has 130k+ miles and the transmission is finally starting to go. I attempted to look online and see if there is a way to figure out the CEL code but can't seem to find one. On my 1998 Honda Prelude Type SH there is a trick you can do to stick a paperclip on the OBD-II to throw out the blinking codes. Is there a similar procedure for our TL to find this code without buying a scanning tool?

Second thing I'm wondering about is how bad the transmission is damaged. I use Amsoil Universal Synthetic ATF fluid. I did an overhaul (3x3) with that fluid at 103,xxx miles, and recently did a 1x3 about 8,000 miles ago. During the 3x3, I did changed out the 3rd and 4th pressure switches and ATF plug (yes I stripped it). I did measure the the dipstick and everything is where it's suppose to be. I do drive the car aggressively, and the wife drives it modestly. How aggressive you say? Well I take the car on the SH-130 Toll Road in Texas and frequently top it out at 145+. Dangerous I know but I do it alone and with no cars on the road for at least half a mile in front of me. Anyway I can sometimes drive in reverse , and sometimes it catches in 1st gear, but when it hits about 4 or 5 RPM's it slips like a manual transmissions clutch burning out. This is my first automatic car so I'm trying to figure out exactly what is wrong. I do know in a manual transmission if your tranny is toast it will not get into any gear, and also doesn't help that I can't find a poor mans version of checking the CEL. Anybody's inquiry on the matter will be greatly appreciated.

Tomorrow I will tow it to a transmission shop see what problems they can find. It's a good friend of the family so I hope the price isn't too much. I will keep this post updated in case people have similar problems.

Sorry for the double post, but I pulled the engine code P0722 CVT OUTPUT SHAFT (DRIVEN PULLEY) SPEED SENSOR CIRCUIT NO SIGNAL INPUT. I really do hope it is just a sensor. I just tried driving it now, it goes into 1st and R but still slips. Any idea which sensor this might be?

Ok got the transmission taken care of, but now throwing a CEL of P0757, Shift Solenoid B stuck on. On the service manual, I believe on page 4-184, it shows the switch by 2 hose's next to the intake manifold. Problem is stupid manual doesn't list a part number. This is starting to become a pain in the ass
