2005 TL Left Rear Creaking Noise

HI There:
I'm a newbie, just joined!

I have a loud creaking noise in the left rear trunk/suspension when backing up, or driving away from a stop. It's worse in the warmer weather - over 30degrees F.
My mechanic was sure it was control bar (sway bar?) bushings and replaced these - noise still there and louder every day.

I noticed the '05 TSX has this as a common problem traced to bad spot welds in rear cross member, but have not seen this mentioned for the '05 TL.

Others have said lube all rear suspension parts to fix it.

Has anybody had this problem on a TL and found a fix?

Look forward to your collective wisdom.

Check the sway bar clamps and bushings, let's start with an easy one and move from there.

Had this problem on my old lancer, turned out to be one of the control arm bushings disintegrated and metal was rubbing on metal. I would suggest getting under the car and see if you can see any torn bushings, or ones that the rubber is bulging out. If you don't see anything grab a friend and have him "jump" (with his shoes off of course) in the rear passenger door opening so that the suspension is moving quite a bit and see if you can trace the squeak. Once you think you've found it, hit it with some WD-40 or other grease/oil and see if it quiets it, if it does you found your problem.....if it doesn't, keep searching :2cents:

Thanks for replies. The sway bar bushings have been replaced - no change.
One update - I can now hear the creaking/groan when I push down on left rear suspension, not just when car is moving. So starting to wonder about shocks/springs. Will do a thorough under car inspection top trace noises as suggested
