2004 Acura TL transmission slipping/hesitation
My 2004 automatic transmission TL takes 20 seconds to shift from drive to reverse and vise-versa when the car is cold. Problem corrects itself when car has been heated.
Even when car is warm, there is significant hesitation or slippage when driving throughout all gears but mainly felt in the shift from 2nd to 3rd gears.
Is my transmission about to die? Is there anything i could do to minimize the damage and/or cost associated with this issue?
This is my second tranny with 200,000km on the ODO. I drive mostly with tiptronic.

try new fluid and pressure switches and clean your screens and perhaps you can squeeze more life out of it. plenty of threads here on this subject
