I just bought a 2004 Acura TL the car ran pretty good but it develped a wierd problem... the accelarator pedal becomes dead once in a while... when i say dead i mean non-responsive... you can press it but the car either would not do anything or accelerate very very slowly....

Have any one else had a issue like that?

Any advice or help i can get on this would be helpfull.. thanks in advance.

The car has 119K miles on it and its automatic transmission.

changing it isn't very hard.

Thanks.... i am swaping it with my friends Acura TSX which is the same part number. Just to see if that is the problem.
