'07 TL Type-S bad MPG

K so I got a 2007 tl type-s around 31,000 miles changed the air filter bought a OEM one from Acura installed it, changed the oil/oil filter once every 3,000 miles and from time to time I get a TIGHTEN FUEL CAP message. My gas mileage is around 14 in the city pretty bad right now I think my car is running to rich due to something. Tire pressure is always at 34/36 psi. Im consdering replacing the EVAP Purge Valve which what seems to go bad in the tl-s but Im not sure. Also not sure if i should replace the plugs since the car only has 30,000 or can it be a bad fuel cap????

Wouldn't hurt to check the plugs, but they are supposed to be good for 100,000 miles. I changed mine at 65k though just because 100,000 miles seems like a long time for plugs to be in there. Mileage is a tricky thing to use as a diagnostic tool or as a symptom of a problem. How does the car run? Any changes in performance or sound/feel?

OP needs more detailed info in order for us to help him to see if car is running correctly.

Please post average MPG and average MPH, which can both be found in the MID.
