'07 TL - Dead Battery

While visiting AAA office (what a coincidence) the battery on my 2007 TL (1 1/2 years old) with less then 10,000 miles went dead. OEM battery needed replacement!

Anyone else have similar problem or did I get a "lemon" battery?

Are you sure it was dead? What was the voltage reading? Were the battery terminals sulfated?

Acura OEM batteries aren't the greatest but to fail in one year is a bit unusual but not unheard. I'd get a Delphi (AC Delco) or if your willing a yellow / red top Optima Battery. They are typically dependable, carry a good warranty and have higher cranking amps.

Stay away from NAPA or EverStart - These get real mixxed reviews from high to very low.. better to get a brand that is dependable.

as its been stated a million times, the battery on the TL from the factory does NOT LAST LONG. it dies in a matter of months and the ones the dealer stocks are better, but not as good as the yellow/red tops. Get a new battery from the dealer or a credit and buy a yellow/red top and be happy.
