Exclamation 06 tl j35a5 -- help!

alright so i have an 06 tl with a cracked block. i have pulled the engine and trans, and i was able to obtain a J35A5 for next to nothing. obviously my issue here is that its not compatible with my trans.

What is my most cost effective option here. do i ditch the motor, is there a tranny that will fit and be compatible with the current wiring harness, do i need to find a new trans to swap bell housing from?

please help. im fairly mechanically inclined to do the work but i dont have a whole lot of knowledge regarding the compatibility in this situation!

The J35A6 out of the 05+ Odyssey (LX/EX only) is the engine you need.

The OP on the thread below swapped one to his 05' 6spd TL (w/o navi):

Easiest option, IMHO, is to 'ditch the motor' and use the J35A6 Odyssey (LX/EX only) because it is compatible with everything else.
