A few months ago the driver seat started being touchy and would only move the seat forward/back up/down on occasion. Eventually it stopped working all together, which prevents my wife from driving as she is significantly shorter than I am. After reading several threads I had tried the typical fixes, fuses, motors worn out, switches and haven't had luck. I eliminated the motor or gears stuck as the memory buttons still work and will move the seat from memory position 1 to position 2 and back. As this still worked I thought it was just the switches, however after replacing the switch I have the same issue. Anyone have any other ideas to try? I'm guessing its something electrical, but other than the memory circuit board I'm out ideas. As the MSC unit is $100 I don't want to buy it unless I'm certain, as as the memory buttons are still working I makes me believe this couldn't be the problem.

Do the memory buttons move the seat?

 

Memory buttons do work, forward/back up/down and recline all move between the memory settings.

 

I guess I'm just screwed. I'm surprised no one has any other ideas?

 

I have the exact same problem in my '04 and I haven't seen to have found a solution. I was going to try the switches as well but that didn't work for you so I honestly have no clue.
