05 tl hot engine bay

i search around the forums and found someone had a similar problem like mines.. Around 15-45 mins driving around my front engine bay would get hot but temp gauge would remain in the middle... I have no idea what would cause this problem I search around and saw it could be relays?? Both my fans doesn’t kick in at start upnit would delay a little bit then it would start spinning so you guys think it’s about time to replace both fans, thermostat and relays???

What makes you think it is hot? The entire front end will get hot...it has an engine under there and a radiator with 180-200F fluid going through it. It will get hot. What is the actual problem you are reporting?

I don’t believe the fans are means to run 100% of the time.

Internal combustion engine... There are explosions happening many times a second inside that hunk of metal called an engine.
explosions = fire and heat.

Picking a nit here.

Under the heading of 4-Cycle engines, the old adage of "Suck, Squeeze, Bang, Blow" is actually slightly off. Why? Hopefully there aren't any "explosions" and as such, there shouldn't be any banging. It might be appropriate, for the sake of literal accuracy to change the adage to, "Such, Squeeze, Burn, Blow".

Long story short, yes, stuff gets hot in an engine bay; nature of the beast.
