I did search for this issue but only found threads for non TL's.

So.. my 05 Base Tl has a rather rough idle when i first start it and when it's in park or Neutral.

I've read that it could be broken engine mounts? any thoughts?

I do not notice any roughness when in gear, D or R.. just in P or N.

any advice or assistance would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance! I love these forums!!

PS. car has just over 106K, runs full synthetic and always put 93 octane in the tank. I've only had the car for 2k miles.. rough idle has been present since i first bought it.

I must say though... this IS the only problem that i have with the car (besides the squealing CV heat shield, which i've since fixed, thanks to the advice found on these forums).

There few things you have to check : the air idler ,locate there the intake. The injector. Or the OC sensor.
