'05 6MT Stalling not Under Load
My 05 6MT TL is randomly stalling. I have tried to pinpoint all the symptoms of the stall and they are as follows.
1.) Only happens when clutch in or in neutral after engine RPM was at something other than idle.
2.) Not tied to AC/power steering pump (happens whether or not turning while clutch in or while AC compressor is engaged)
Here is the basic time line of events.
Driving along at some RPM; clutch in; engine revs drop to 750 then continue to drop and stall engine.
Sometimes I can see the engine revs drop below idle but recover and return to idle and engine does not stall.
If the engine revs drop down below idle and I catch it at the right time I can blip the throttle and prevent it from stalling.
After reading around I was thinking it might be an EGR valve issue. Anyone agree with this assessment? Disagree? Anyone experience something similar?
Edit: Forgot to mention; it has not thrown any codes.

Thanks, does seem very similar but not quite 100%. The car will idle rock solid for an extended period of time with no issue, its only when the revs are dropping from a higher level to idle that it stalls.
