For the last month or so I am getting this water rushing sound on my 04 TL when step on the break at a red light or step on the gas from a stop. I only notice it when there is no outside noise and no radio on (perfect example in a quiet country road red light at night). Checking the trunk I don't find any water around the spare tire or any wetness anywhere. Sound feels like it is coming directly under the car rather than the engine or trunk area. Anyone experience this or have any idea what it might be. Thanks.

check the rear seat area, floormats and under the seats. There is a grommet under the car that can sometimes cause water to come into the car during heavy downpours. Acura has a TSB for affected cars.

Also there might be a chance it's a clogged sunroof drain. I'd spray some water on the roof and make sure it drains from under the car.

Might be a long shot but you may have air in your cooling system My RL did that till we flushed it out.

I had the same sound, check your coolant level. Mine was low, I topped it up and the sound went away.

x2 on both solutions... I just did mine this past winter... left my floor all wet every-time it rained. FAIL
