So the trunk release button on my 06 TL Key Fob doesn't work ( No it isn't the switch in the glove box turned off ), anyway , I opened the key fob up and took this picture. There is a piece of yellow metal below where all of the buttons are, unlock-lock-panic, except for where the Trunk Release button is. Does anyone know if thats the problem, or would be willing to open theres up and take a picture?

That really looks like it is missing the surface mounted switch to me (the yellow circular things soldered where the other buttons push). And based on the nice round solder blobs in the 4 corners of the white square it looks like it was never there. Or very poorly soldered if it was (obviously)

Did it ever work? If so I'd expect the pressure switch would have been loose in the fob and come out when you opened it. If so you could probably solder it back on carefully (or find a friend that knows how to). If you are really desperate and confident with a soldering iron you could de-solder the one for the panic switch and put it where the trunk one goes. Assuming you never care about the panic switch. Otherwise you probably need to get and program a new fob
