*HELP* with License plate lights

I purchased a pair of L.E.D's from www.v-leds.com. When I put the lights in the sockets all the way they don't light up unless I wiggle the l.e.d. out a little from the socket. This doesn't help because the lights keep turning off after driving my car. I have to go back to the lights play around with them until they turn back on, which is frustrating. Why wouldn't they light up if the light is pushed all the way in? Could I have purchased a bad pair? Anyone else experience this?

thanks

If you look at the part that wedges into the socket, you will see 2 prongs that can be moved. Take your fingernail and pull them out away from the bulb just a slight bit and then reconnect it. This will ensure the best connection with the terminals.
