lol. i blew the tranny on my lexus so I havnt been able to do the other mods i wanted to do before "debuting" the car. I'll probably pull the car out and show it at Wekfest SF while its still "under construction"

as for trading in the car for a kia, no, but I am considering selling and getting a Tesla S

So after all this time the TL has still been under construction? dang!
Didn't know you had a Lexus in the works. Was probably sick as fffffff.

And Tesla is nice.

the TL has just been sitting in the body shop in this form for a long while now. there are other plans, but just not financially responsible to do atm. its just a 2000 gs, nothing special about it, but ive fallen in love with a tesla and id love to mod one

Ah, the good ole times in Acurazine. When people spent money to modify their TL's and do it right. Recently, the closest thing to custom is plasti-dipping your wheels, grills, emblems or entire car. How things have changed since buying the TL 8 years ago.

Went to the Westchester, NY mall on Labor Day for all the good sales...

There was a Tesla store there. Pieces of painted panels on the wall to choose your color. All the different interior options hanging on the wall. All the mechanical parts hanging too...
There was a frame/suspension model on the floor and then there was a complete model there too, that you could sit in and play with...
Was pretty cool. The car is gorgeous.
Not sure if they're getting the best ratings though, iirc

It's just nice to see electric getting "cool", as opposed to just functional/ugly.

wtf you still need a spacer to clear BBK even with negative offsets?
And welcome back dude. Overtime this thread opens I get excited---then I get sad.
Hopefully now things will be different =]

Probably because of the disk type - Often times even with negative offset but "super low disk" the disk type the spokes won't clear the BBK

Damn....

Didn't think you were still around.

Don't show any of them pictures, debut it at a show and I'll come see it.

yea, deep concave faces, big lips, and big breaks are a bad combination

You know. There really aren't any. It's pretty dead. I know the PUREVIP guys still head to almost all the shows. I think the biggest one is Wekfest then there are some little small ones here and there. I'll let you know of any upcoming ones. I know there was one two Saturdays ago, nothing huge, but heard it was a good turn out.
