Found a video of a pimped out TL notice how he painted the area by the door handles black, pretty nice ride, I must say.

Well I didn't want to point out that he lost, in fact, I don't care about that. But I just think his ride looks nice. Did anyone notice he has a black front lip?

Screw the TL, i'm buying a 1980's pickup and racing it. I'll pay for school by making bets on the race.


Yes, I am fully aware that that truck is most definetely not stock, as well as the fact that it's lighter, and RWD, not to mention it got a head start on the launch.

those trucks are actually pretty popular for draq racing. people will buy a crappy ol' silverado, and drop a 350 or 454 with a 700R4 tranny in there... why? i have no idea... i guess thats the ultimate sleeper status

this was posted in another thread about the front lip he is sporting... and yea he def got his ass handed to him by the pickup... if you see at the starting line the pickup was burning rubber easy...

after watching that again, it looks like the TL got a bad start. The jump he took to get up to the line looked better than the start he got from the tree.

^ i noticed that too, from a rolling start of maybe 30-40 mph the TL would've gotten the lead.

No kidding. I saw the pickup go and it must have been a full second before the dude in the TL hit the gas. Still sucks to get beat by one of the work trucks from Julio's Landscaping.

Oh he hit the gas...hard.

It's just that he seemed to have some stuff underhood, and the TL is wuick for a fwd car as is.

Just too quick to get a good launch

i personally didn't think the paint job looked too good. IMO kinda like a really bad imitation of CF.
