Had my car parked under a tree for a few hours and this is the result...
Did a quick midnight car wash once I got home. The poop was stubborn coming off even when I sprayed it w/ a hose.
after some quick cleaning. didn't dry off all the water =/

Wahhhh man your car got nailed!
I was watching something on TV last night about swarming Starlings (birds) that gather in the tens of thousands in urban environments and cover cars in inches of scat..haha so i guess it could be worse.

I ran over a pigeon the other day, I felt bad, but at least it's one less bird to crap on my car. I also ran over a cat the other day, I feel REAL bad about that one. my wife wouldn't talk to me for a week becuz of that, and I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW I RAN OVER IT!! until we followed a trail of red stuff from my rear wheel to this cat carpet in the middle of the street.
Anyways, I heard you gotta clean bird doo-doo fast because their shyt is acidic, good thing you did the midnight car wash.

Knock on wood, but I've never had a bird poop on my car. Pure luck I guess

When I drive my car to Galveston, Texas (Beach), my car turns to a WDP in seconds.

keep your cars waxed and watch where you park-
the bird drops are very acidic- something you remove as soon as seen
I keep baby wipes and QD in the car- wipes take off stuff right now, but take some wax too, QD makes you work for results but restores protection so a spray after makes the car shine evenly again

Thank god you cleaned it off right away. My mom had bird poop on the hood of her 2008 C350 for about a week or two and it left a permanent spot.
+1 now that I think about it. That's odd actually. 8 months of ownership and no bird poop? Can't complain.

I always attack bird shit on my car instantly with quick detailer and a rag, and usually manage to get it before it sets in. I do the same on my girl's Jetta. She would let it sit there for literally weeks otherwise. On a black car.
