Brother. Thanks for the comment. Listen.... No one in this thread is degrading anything you've done to your TL. You've got some work tied up in it as we can all see, and a lot of it is very clean looking. Now some of it is not for everyone, and maybe they voiced their opinion on a couple things they don't like. But if you think about it, there's probably 20 other things that they like...but they just didn't say them all because it's easier to just say the 2 or 3 things they dont like.

I think the problem started when you came out and said you have been schooling us since 1999.

Xsclusv, i don't think anyone's really hatin' on your car. I'm sure most of the members like what you've done to the car. The body is original w/ the A-spec kit being molded to the rest of the car. The CSL trunk is original, for a TL. Some people like the shaved door handles/side makers.

At the end of the day, it's your car, and you clearly have a passion for it. And at the same time, others love their own car and have a passion for way of modding.

The majority of us aren't knockin' your mods, and it's mature that you go on knockin' what others have done to their car.

But it's one thing to do something and open up a path for other to follow (which is usually taken as a compliment), and it's another to come in here and think you're the shit b/c you got the money to pour into your car.

I for one, could do all the stuff you did, and then some. There are people here who have probably thought of stuff that you haven't, but don't go through b/c they rather put $$ into something else. I, for one, put my money into an appreciating object. (house, property, etc.)


And also, 105k salary isnt' ballin. Spending 20k on a car isn't ballin. Ballin is when you can stay at the Oriental Hotel in NYC and spend over 100k in just one night (room, food, drinks, personal furniture brought in), and then still have enough to stay for another month. (My friend used to work there and he said that a lot of the people who stay in the presidential suite would easily spend over 100k in one night)

ya know, i actually kinda liked the style of the s-22... but its pretty damn true, those wheels crack .. bad... and the face will actually detach from the lips.... mostly on the s-22... a few members here have experienced it, and its all over the internet... pretty fckin' dangerous if you ask me.. there are dozens of reported cases of that


i would have even gotten the s-55 for my car, but the whole sevas-wheels cracking thing, didnt sit well with me... plus its a BITCH to get just one replacement wheels.. takes weeks upon months....
