link to gloss black is right there for everyone.
Looks like nice stuff but it's only 15 inches wide. Wouldn't you want it as wide as your roof?

Looks good.......I see the seam you mentioned behind the antenna. Have you tried waxing it for more shine?

I saw this stuff in a tint shop here locally as I was getting my 15% put on last Monday. I talked to the owner about overlays......he's never done it but said he would do it. The roll looked like it was about 3 ft wide.....but I guess they make wider. He had a lot of other colors as well. He uses the vinyl to make signs with.

But looks great on your WDP!

^ It was very hard cutting around the damn antenna, so I had no choice but to cut right down the center. I waxed once I put it on since then I only washed it. I will wax it again and It will look much better.

I replaced the guts in the factory puck with a Siruis one in about an hour. It takes about 10 minutes to get the puck loose, the rest of the time took modifying the plate inside the puck. I would say 30 minites, tops, to replace one for one with a gloss black puck. PM me if you want to know the steps or see my thread in the nav/electronics section.

The black on white looks great!! Wow!!

Would the vinyl damage your paint over time?

hard to tell, I always detail my car once a week, so in my case it won't. I would only keep this on for 6 months, its a sticker really sooo its best to paint it this was a 50 buck mod i will only keep it on for a bit then take it off and paint the roof.

holding up excellent! Taken through a car wash 3x and detailed it with a buffer a few times and no problems. The heat helps with any small bubbles but I got this dead on without any bubbles.

s2000s use this same vinyl on the windshield..

if you dont believe me look at another s2k and look at the windshield.. it is black.. if you remove it, there is paint that matches the car.. my old s2k was an '01 .. i didnt realize it was even vinyl until someone pointed it out.. even after 7 years it still looked good..

This is very nice.

Their are lots of Corvettes with black rims, black roof and black mirrors. Have you thought about going that route?

Will this overlay cause any problems to your paint?
