I was gonna just put my stock wheel back on and leave it, but i said to my self "SELF!, ahh just get one rim on" so i did for you guys!. this whill be my set up. 8.5 up front and 7.5 in the rear with a 20mm project kic (sp?) spacer. well on to the pix. I know they look really small =[

It looks like you've already scratched your new paint job (pic 2).

I'm willing to bet that those are resting points from the wheels sitting while being painted or drying... if you notice there is a simliar mark on the wheel a few inches up, or down, depending on which mark you were referring to.

Although prior pics look like they were painted on a rack, so what do I know...

That's going to look amazing!

When my wife picked up her 08 WDP TL from Acura, they had an 06 WDP TL with the stock rims color matched white. The rims were professionally painted, but I seriously doubt they'll compare to yours!

Actually I didn't paint it on a rack. That scratch is actually from my finger, testing out the durability of the paint the the prep work. Infortunatly is wasn't a good job lol. Soo since then I had sanded it back down and preped it better so now there isn't any scratch.

Also with fattie tires it will prolly be hardly visible at all. Don't worry guys. I am a perfectionest (sp) so I will NOT rock them if they are hash. If worst comes to worst ill just simply powder coat them. For right now I wanted to take credit for MY work. Not money I just payed someone to take credit. The next pictures ill get up will be them mounted and maybe a full fledge photo shoot with nokiaboy808.

Unfortunatly no telling when that will be.

But I have a quick question for u guys. Do u think I shud run them 8.5 in the front and 7.5 rear? Or the other way around?

for looks, i say 8.5s in the rear. for practicality, 8.5s up front.

Naw, just gotta refinish them. and i dont have a buffer, what i used to refinish the rims was a high speed craftsman drill and a buffing wheel and rubbing compound

no thats not the point.

they forgot to give me a volk one. on TE's theres 2 stickers exactly horizantal on 2 spokes the one on the left is VOLK and the one on the right is RAYS. so im missing one volk sticker. UGH!

Is this one sticker going to postpone your entire plans for putting on te rims?

if so, you might as well slap on another coat of paint, as you said it's kinda thin.

hey...when life gives you lemons

Those are not the authentic ones. I've got replica ones as well. There are some small differences between the two versions.
