WDP night photoshoot

I blacked out the A emblems tonight with plastidip and then decided to give the car a quick wash and try out some night pics. I'm happy with how they came out, and I have some ideas for the next time. Let me know what you think!

Awesome pictures! Shooting at night is crazy hard.

My only suggestion for next time is to polish those exhaust tips first :tomato:

Thanks all!

Good call on the exhaust, I could always photoshop it clean I guess!

As far as shooting at night, tripod is an absolute MUST. Keep the ISO low and get a nice clean long exposure. I also played around with painting the car with the flash. Had to crop my hand or the flash burst out of a few of these.

Nice shots, love the color combo

lower the rear end too

stvtec 06-22-2011 02:10 PM

The rear is already rubbing and the fenders need rolled. :( Plus the car sits with a bit of a "raked" stance which I like. I don't want to rear to look "saggy". I have the rear Eibach springs but didn't install them, I'm afraid it will drop too much and look saggy.

spacers in the rear......?

stvtec 06-23-2011 07:34 AM

Yeah 15mm front 25mm rear. The rear was OK with the stock wheels/tires but rubbing with the A-Spec 18s. Even though the tires are still 235/40/18.

Good start. Next time when shooting at night find a better lit parking lot and you also need a shutter remote so you're not moving the camera when you hit the button to take the picture.
