WDP Competition Lately

Whats up guys. Seeing that lately the most common color is WDP I have decided to take a some decent shots of my car to see what you guys think. I only have 3 of the pictures now since im at work and all the other ones are saved on my computer. (I finally got piks of the trunk, and side shots of the wheels tucking under the fenders. Ill post those up later tonight when i get home.) So for now, Let me know what you guys think. I personally think these are the best photos ive taken personally.

I like the concept behind the photos but the quality is poor.

There is no denying the car looks good so keep it up.

How you don't rub in the rear is beyond me! Cut fenders or just rolled? Can't wait to see pics of the trunk...from what I could tell from those glimpses in the other thread, it looks awesome.

fenders are rolled and i had the trim the rear of the A Spec lip mounts. The wheels are cambered so it tucks at an angle and the wheels just 1cm from touching. With people in the car the wheels just tuck more. NO CUT NO RUB.

ur wheel well had a flab thats part of ur fender. When u roll them it means to fold the flap agianst the fender like folding it up.

if u run ur hand from ur fender or quater panel down into the wheel well ull feel the tab on the fender that needs to be folded. I believe the TL's come half rolled already.

no u can not see it. its on the inside of the fender so that the wheel can tuck under the fender without rubbing or cutting up ur tire.

How much extra tape did you use to get the rear to stay a-spec lip to stay attached? I can't seem to get it to attach right after trimming off the part of the kit.

I only trimmed around the top bolt so i still have the bottom bolt holding, but i did re install all the tape new just to be on the safe side. no problems yet.

Is that on US 1? That sign looks familiar for some reason. I drove through Miami a couple of times last week...saw quite a few modded cars (which was odd considering the times of day I was going through there). I'm sure at rush hour there are tons of awesome cars driving around. I didn't see too many TL's, either.

Funny that u notice the sign becuase the shop that was having this car show was in Hialeah but they also have a shop off of US 1. lol. so yea good job pointing that out man.

With that -3+ degrees of camber and staggered wheels I bet you get the priveledge of replacing your tires every 8-10K miles...
No wheel rotation capbility and ALL inner tire wear.

It looks good, in that 64 impala on 13 daytons and 17 switches kinda way... Not practical in any way, not performance oriented in any way... Lot of show, little go.

That's show winner for sure though.

Actually i have my toe aligned to the dime and ive had this suspension setup with wheels on for already about 10k miles and my tires are still more than 95% evenly threaded. I also thought the same thing that with this camber i was going to go through tires like crazy but, the shop that aligned my car told me that with my toe aligned it wouldnt ware the tires and its true. My tires are still holding up. I have the new Falken F452 and these tires are awsome.

AS for perfomance it really doesnt make much difference just the weight of the wheels, such as any aftermarket non forged wheels. And this is my daily driver and show car so i have the best of both worlds, and if i would of prefered performance i wouldnt have bought a TL. But thanks for the compliments.

I love it. Its a must if you tint ur windows. If you dont tint ur windows id leave it as is or lighter tint. I went with the darker as i have 5% limo tint all the way around.

Never tried Tein Coils but have two freinds that have them on 350z's and those things bounce like a mutha. I love my H&R, a little costy but will never regret it. Its so nice and stiff. I hit a bump and it just takes the bump and feels like u hit a cloud. Im on 30 series tires all around and the ride is still awsome. I put my stocks on with the set up how it is on my coils and it felt better than stock and handled like a dream. Defenetly worth the extra $$$

Better ride than stock huh? Damn that about clinches it for me. I dont think I'll be varying the stiffness much once I find my ideal setup, so no need for the Tien edfc setup. where did you get your H&R's from btw?

I ordered them from an Authorized H&R dealer, locally here by my house. Shop around man. Some prices are going to be better than others and some are even going to tell you that they dont offer them for our tl's. (When they say that ask about the 7th gen accord because there the same ones.)

That's cool... don't take my comments negative either. Just a little too flashy for me.

I was sweating the -2 camber the Tein SS caused, but if what you say is true about tire wear, I should be more than fine.

FYI, the lack of performance is more than just wieght out of the wheel, as the wheel stuffs and cambers deeper, your tire contact patch is reduced. When you take a corner quickly you are probably only using 33% of the tire due to the camber... Not that it really matters though, you're not trying to autocross.

Those Sevas are hot. I'd consdier them had I not already ordered some Volk GT-s's
