Washed, Clayed, Waxed

Hey guys, haven't been around on azine that much, been busy on the g35 forums for my brother's car. Anyways, I washed, clayed, and waxed my car two days ago and decided to go and take a few pics. Getting type-s tails/side markers soon, along with new subs, and the lip spoiler. Let me know what y'all think

P.S. I suck at photography

The Type-S rear sidemarkers will really be a big improvement. Did you mean you are getting the Type-S rear A-Spec lip? I love the wheels and the drop, it looks perfect.

Very nice!

Love those wheels much better over the older ones you had.

Did you clay/wax it yourself or go somewhere to get it done? ie: Hi-Def Detail?

Also, what kinda headlight mod do you have? Are they just cleared?

I actually really like those wheels nice job car looks great!! Only thing I dont like is huge fart can mufflers. Just not something the TL should have on it. OEM tips or some sort of quad tip like the Type S looks best I think anyway.
Humm I wonder how those wheels would look on a NBP 08 Type S ;-)

No, I meant the decklid spoiler for the trunk. I'd like a rear type s aspec lip and atlp quads, but no money

Yea I did everything myself. Took all day.

Headlights- all I did was open them up and take out the amber diffusers. So yes, cleared.

There are a few diy's that discuss it. Just kinda put them together and come up with your own way. I've done it twice, once to mine and once to another TL...never again will I do it. It's a pain in the ass imo.

Thanks for the nice comment guys. Well appreciated.

As I said, I'm not a very good photographer at all, LOL.

Mini update-ordered type-s tails and side markers today. Very excited!

Yea sure I don't mind. But as cj just said, it's super easy. I learned how to do it by reading the instructions. Clay first then wax.

I washed the car with dishwashing soap to take off the wax coating. Then went and bought a Mother's Clay Kit from walmart (any brand will do really). The kit came with 2 60g clay bars and some quick detailer, which should be used as lube. It is very important that the area you are waxing has some lube on it. I usually do a 3'x3' section, then wipe with a microfiber. The waxed I used Meguiar's NXT 2.0 with the little 3in applicator pad that came with it. Just wax on the entire car, then start wiping off from the place you first started waxing. When I wash my car usually I use Meguiar's Gold Class Car Wash.

^I use pretty much the same stuff you do; Meguiars Wash and Wax with the Mothers Clay Kit. Good shit.

Congrats on the Type-S goodies. I'm looking forward to seeing them on the car

I kinda like the clean red look of the tail light on the car now... I agree with the smoked side markers... I think square tips of some sort on the exhaust would match better with the lines of the care but to be honest I myself have grown out of the exhaust market... Overall nice ride!
