Brian, I really like what you have done.!The LEDs have made a huge change to the front of the car!! well.. to me at least. However, i think it needs something on. I can't wait to see the look of the car once the type-s front lip has been installed!!
I was thinking about doing the same thing long ago when i had the the 04-06 front bumper. Instead of using the mercedes benz LEDs (which were not made at that time), i was thinking about trying the LEDs from audi. Nevertheless, when driving to audi to purchase the LEDs, I happened to see a type-s driving by so i changed my mind inmediatly lol Anyways, keep us posted and do not make us wait

Nice touch! Always love LEDs. How much did it cost you for this set up?

An arm and a leg.....

The LED modules were $450 for the pair, the bumper was $270, and painted with custom grille fitting was another $500.

I know I've already said it looks good, but man, those really flow with the car. I've seen that shape before on other cars and was not impressed. It's as if they were made for the TL.

I wholly agree... there are so many LED DRL set ups available on the market these days. This was my thought process..

The lower fog area on the type-s came at a down angle at the corners, and it didn't hit me until I parked next to an E-class with the LED DRLs. Here are the pictures that ran through my head...

Keep in mind that professional work was done to make these look OEM. Had I hacked up the bumper myself it wouldn't have come out nearly as good.

Yeah, that's it! But it looks out of place on the MB. With the TL, the angle of the vertical portion of the DRL matches the angle of the lower sides of the TLS so it flows better IMO.

Brian, do you still have the LED's in your headlights? I'm trying to see them in the pic, but it looks like you took them out.

If they're still in, how about a pic of both turned on!
