DREW....WOW !!! Usually I'm not in favor of changing Type S wheels, but WOW! Those look like they were made for an ASM Type S. What a classy look....everything works so well together.

Thanks everyone~ I saw these wheels on another forum member's NBP Type-S and I wanted the deep dish look so I opted for these wheels. The car attracts a lot of positive attention.
I'm not sure how low the car is lowered but when I had it lowered I told the shop to go low as possible without rubbing. They did a very good job lowering the car. I thought I wouldn't be able to go that low especially with the staggered fitment wheels & tires.
With the 19x8.5 and the TL bolt-pattern the lowest offset is +33mm. The Type-S brake calipers clear with no problems.
Thanks Robert... it was good to meet ya'll. I will definitely be there at the April Seattle meet.
The front & rear A SPEC kit for the Type-S does mount over your existing front & rear bumpers but there's drilling involved with the rear bumper.

Thank-you Sir. These wheels look even better on a black TL. I was in favor of darker wheels similiar to the stock Type-S wheels but after seeing these wheels on another TL I decided to go with a more traditional look.

Previously before the H&R coilovers I was lowered with H&R Sport springs on factory struts. Switching over to H&R coilovers made a big difference in creature comforts. It doesn't help that I'm riding on staggered 19in wheels & wide low profile tires. It does handle a lot better and the ride is smoother. I like it.

I haven't seen that A-Spec lip before. Please let me know where I can get one.
Thank you.

You can purchase the A-SPEC lip kit for the Type-S online or at your local dealership. You can find it a lot cheaper online but if you don't mind paying a little bit more including taxes your local Acura dealership can get the kit for you (not recommended). I believe you can price challenge the dealership if you print out the online quote and bring it to them. It must be from another Acura dealership... not Ebay... good luck!
