Thanks!
You can run them with OEM struts, depending on how old your current ones are now.. But its always better to go aftermarket. I had eibach sport springs on yellow koni's, then sold the springs to a friend which then used them on oem struts. If that helps. (he was type-s)

I've got 65k on these (assuming they've never been replaced). The suspension still feels great though.

Legend, I ran stock shocks with my tein s techs for a month and a half and blew the front left shock. I only had 30,000 miles on mine. Decided to go with Tokico hts shocks with the teins and absolutely love them!! It really depends on your driving habits and the conditions of the roads where you live i guess.

yea tell me about it. Looked under the car in my garage and was leaking oil. Thought for a second that oil was leaking since it was right there on that side. Come to find out, the shock was spewing out oil from the piston. Its ok though, got some new hts's from the BM for a smokin deal!!

Since you focused your thread on Type-S owners, I merged the thread w/ the UA7 Squad thread.

Car looks absolutely stunning but my question is what were you lowered on before the FF coilovers and also hows the ride quality thanks[/quote]
Thanks, i had the TIEN Baisic's on and both TIEN/FF ride great. FF's can go lower so that's the only reason why i switched from the TIEN's.

They're very easy to install. Unless you're like me and suck at vinyl/tint and tried to do them in the dark

I got them from www.lamin-x.com .. i got the universal smoked film, laid it over the turn signal and cut to size... use a hair dryer or heat gun cause it helps mold to size. Have patients and be very careful cutting around the edges.

Sweeeeeet.

Found out they are closing the local Honda dealership today. So now its a 2 hour drive to the nearest Honda and the closest Acura dealer is at minimum 3.5 to 4 hour drive.

That blows.
