It's really basic.

All you're really doing is trimming and cutting haha

I can get a kid to do cut and trim =P

Where my DIY comes in is to guide you basically how and where to make your cuts like I did =)

Yeah, a LOT of just cutting, then test-fitting.

What I should have done is made a pdf template so people know where to cut using the template lol

Now that, would be an epic solution to everybody's fog install.

That turned out amazing man!
I was thinking of doing just the grill but was hesitant as it was uncharted territory.
Now that I see that i can be done I can definitely say I am looking forward to a DIY for this.

Thanks for supporting the community and posting the info.

Perhaps poor searching on my part then as I didn't run into anyone using the OEM honeycomb grill on the 04-06' until now on AZ.
The one thread I found eluded that it couldn't be done because the 07-08 front grill differs in size for the 04-06.

I did recently come across a 05 TL modded on another forum that had this done and a few days later I saw this thread.
I think I'll ante up and give it a shot as the rewards should definitely be worth it in the end.

Yeah, it's not common but has been done.

Most people who tell you it won't fit are partially correct lol
It fits with slight modification.

Thanks !
It's just the Type-s grill so that's what you have to buy.

Good Job. Now lets see those bad boys on !!!! Did you glue the bottom part of the center grill? I had to hot glue mine to the bumper because there was there was no where to screw the lower part of the center grill to the car.

Thanks man!

I hope to wire them up tommorow.

As for the bottom portion, I mounted it using custom brackets I made out of the leftover plastic haha.

That way I can remove the grill if I want to lol

From my DIY: https://acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=817615

Legend:
Blue: OEM screws from old grill (6)
Green: JB Weld
Red: Plastic bracket made from plastic scrap lol
Yellow: This section of the bottom half pushes in perfectly with the opening of the top half.

LMAO good way to improvise. I used hot glue and called it a day lol. As far as the switch, go for independent fogs

The DIY is gonna be posted soon.

A lot of output.

They're not so bad as to being pointed outward, but I have to point them down a little.
