Took some pictures today

These are just taken with my phone (s5) since I don't have the funds for a nice camera yet. I've always enjoyed photography, but never really got into it. What do you guys think?

Nice photos! Cars looks great and you have a good eye as well. I have a WDP as well and love the color- it has held up nice all these years.

Thanks! I love cars that are white pearl too, it really looks amazing in the sunlight. I'm hoping mine holds up, there's a few weird spots on the door that aren't shiny anymore, almost like a matte finish.

Good call I might have to change that. I'm actually going to borrow my cousins old nikon dslr and take some better pictures after I'm done with finals.

Thanks! I think dusk is the best time to take car photos, especially when the sky is that awesome deep orange color.

You're not the only one

Taking pictures in the direct sun creates "hotspots" on the car, where one section is very bright and the other very dark.

Some people resort to taking pictures in the shade to hide from sunlight, which is also bad since you'll have a huge amount of reflection in the car.

Taking the pictures when the sun is setting is best, as it leaves minimal reflection while allowing light to evenly light up the car.

Thanks man! It actually went pretty well. I can only eat soft stuff like mashed potatoes so that's kind of annoying, but I haven't had to take any pain killers yet which is a good thing. My cheeks are really swollen so I look like a squirrel lol.

I have no idea lol. The giraffe name is actually ironic because I'm not that tall. Everyone mispronounces my last name and my friends started calling me giraffe because it sounds similar to how some people pronounce it.

In my boredom of being stuck at home and not being able to do anything, I went through some pictures and decided to add a few more to the thread.

One of the few pics I have of the TL my dad used to have.
