The car looks great except for the wheels, but I understand you situation with the pot-holes and snow. So considering it looks good.

I bent my stock 17" on 235/45/17 and decided that go up 5 MM. I honestly don't love the monster truck look, but it works very well for my purposes. Rear does rub a bit with passengers when going over those damn potholes.

Got my attention by mentioning vodka in the thread name , kept my attention with the NBP! Nice wheels...but your tires had me thinking that I was looking at a RDX for a min! Just kidding, I totally understand the functionality behind it

Holy tire wall, batman! Wow, the potholes must be gaping to bend your stock 17" wheel, or your tire pressure wasn't to spec. In your case, I guess function over fashion rules.

Always kept them at 34, but they would never hold due to existing bends and slowly drop to 20 or so. Of course that would make the rim more suseptable and then bend some more and It's an evil cycle. I was going to get TLS wheels, but then decided to just buy an all season 18" rim/wheel package. These bucks may look lame but they soak it up perfectly

I understand the purpose, however, I think the tires take away from the true appearance of the car. +1 for the RDX comment! I would probably flame you worse but I'll keep in mind that you atleast bought the right color. NBP FTW

If I drop it will def rub, it already bottoms out over large bumps on these shitty road in the Chi. Plus, I have no interest to mess around with camber kits and all the BS lowering involves. I live in the city and drive 75 miles a week at most. My bumpers are constantly getting bashed and rims scrapped due to parallel parking. Another reason for the RDX tires is that I wanted rubber with a large lip to avoid ruining the new TSWs. I think it looks mean, people around here call it the Russian tank

Way too much tire for me. Are you gonna make the Chicago meet on November 18th? And why the Michigan plate?
