TL no more... MDX time...

We loved the TL, but decided to step up in size to an MDX. I've already realized how much less "activity" there is with the MDX crowd so don't take it for granted AZ'ers!

No more:

Do you like the MDX more/less than the TL?

Nice!! Honestly that is a great upgrade from the TL. What happened that made you not want the TL anymore, besides size?
I plan on getting the MDX as well...but I love the TL too much to sacrifice it. Hopefully I can get one as an addition to the TL and TSX we own.

How do you like it?

So far we love the MDX (only 600 miles on it so far). We were worried about the nav not being touchscreen, but the little joystick works great.

I'd say the quality is about the same inside and out. We mainly changed because we wanted the extra passenger room. It doesn't hurt that it doesn't scrape coming in and out of parking lots and driveways though

I think the stereo in the TL sounded better, and the perforated seats might have been softer in the TL than the solid ones in the non-sport MDX.

They are both great cars and a great value compared to the non-acura competition.

I like all 3 of them, own the '07 TL Type S for myself, '08 MDX Sport for the wife, '09 TSX 6MT Tech Package for my son. All are awesome. Will try to get pictures of all 3 when my son's home from college.

One last one of the MDX and then I'll retreat back to the non-TL forums

I concur that the stereo sounds better in the TL and that the seats in the sports package version of the MDX are perforated and very soft...--->better then the TL & non sport MDX.

You're my idol....I can't wait to get the MDX so we can have all three as well. Great vehicles IMHO. Can't wait for the pics.

I have an 07 MDX sport + ENT loaded to the roof and it is a blast to drive. Congrats on your purchase, did you opt for the auto tailgate that is now available to you or not? I love it on my X. Also, acuramdx.org, great forum, not as active like azine, but plenty of helpful people and Post whores too.

Seriously. Whenever I drive my sister's FX it feels good taking driveways head-on without playing the "game".

Yeah, we got it. I didn't think we'd use it but I gotta admit it's pretty convenient. I dropped a grand at hondacuraworld.com they day we bought the car on the all weather mats, front/rear garnish's and the sport running boards. Other than wheels, I think that's all we'll do to it.
