i think honestly, for me, it's the shade of teal Nitrous used and that he paired that with those dark raspberry color wheels. just doesn't do it for me. i'd like to see the wheels in a white/gunmetal/hyper silver...not RED. it's such a bold statement.

White on Teal is a winning combo all day long. Obviously...every teal/green on white wheels has gotten mad love...the dark red DOES kinda clash but I still like it...it's visually somewhat pleasing.

Plus, like I mentioned before. Red and Green, it's December 14th, almost Christmas, I get it.

All the cars you posted look good. I think if Shark decides to paint his wheels a weird color, he will get a lot of crap from us too. When you want to go with a bold color, I think you need to pick either the body or wheels, but not both. Like I said, I can appreciate the look Nitrous is going for, but it's just not my style. White wheels would look amazing on his car.

All the cars pictured in the links above are beautiful! But also, what do they all have in common? White wheels, especially the Teal ones.

Like Predator said, everyone in those pics went for a bold body color and pulled it off fantastically, but left the wheels out of the equation and went with a nice matching color for the overall look. If anyone else noticed the RSX had blood red Recaro seats and didn't pick flashy color wheels to try and match them.

I love the overall look of Nitrous' car and the work put into it to make it that way. And you know the pics probably don't do it justice as far as the wheel and paint combo. However, if it was my car, I would have just chosen a different color for the rims.

We aren't all assholes. Some members are just a little up tight.. When you bring in stereo typical comments about a persons location your throwing statements without knowledge your looking to continue with the BS. If your original dispute from member to member is about one's choice of modifications then stick with it.

personally i think the whole "teal car" thing has been done to death amongst the "stance" crowd lately. i also hate the front lip. it does look pretty saucy in the photoshop with grey wheels tho. never a fan of obnoxious wheel colors.

Well, all the "hate" kinda kept the owner from the car from posting more. Honestly, the more shots I see it, the more I dig the combination. As far as something being played out or not, honestly...I build my car for me to love. So how many others have "done 'it' before" becomes kinda irrelevant.

Props for being different. I think the car needs 1 more thing to tie in the red rims. Not sure what tho. Maybe if the acura symbols where painted the same color it would tie in better, just a thought. Paint job looks good tho. I'm always game to see someone go outside of the box. Lex is on point !!!!!!! How do you keep the white face of the rims clean ????

Red seats so I kind of get the red wheels. But my personal opinion, and obviously everyone has one, is the wheels would look better matching the front grill. Lip is ok if you want to go bold...the car definitely stands out.
