Well to all that has criticism to the car I'm sorry it isn't up to your liking but maybe someday u can puts money into your car but as for my car. I love my car and what I have done for it. I have gone thru the stock 05 front with the aspec lip already. Did the ken style front bumper and then did the 08 type s front with lip. So for the car as it sits now. I did the car the way I like it. And the red REAL TE37 not REPS it goes with the red RECARO SEATS IN THE CAR!! But hey HATERS WILL ALWAYS HATE!! But I'm okay with that. So please keep it coming!! you're welcome buddy...I tend to try and keep an open mind to things. I've found that most of the interwebz (and real life) consist of people that hate on ANYTHING different, a large majority of the population go along with that just to fit in and hate on it too. And a few will take a look and take a step back and appreciate the effort to be different and innovate.

I think we can all agree that a couple of mods for a car aren't tasteful aesthetically...but the color scheme is just fine. Doing big things, congrats.

Personally, I think you should have stuck with the Type S front lip and then painted the whole car that teal.

Also, the car in your AV is SSM but this car is obviously blue, do you have any more picture of when you got it painted or anything?

I like the creativity but its not a very good color to match with red wheels. IF you wanted to do something complementary to color it would have been orange/bronze metalic wheels (although the color you picked wouldnt have helped the over all look of the car)

Ugh, this is totally and completely annoying now and shit like these last few posts is a great way to get a perfectly good thread locked up.

For Christ sake, people are allowed to have an opinions, whether they are good or bad. You are not going to please everyone when you mod your car, but if you don't want any positive or negative criticism then don't post a pic of your car in the first place. Not everyone may like what I have done with my car, and that is perfectly fine and the same case applies here. As long as nobody is personally attacking the owner himself like in the "Two Tone TL Done Right" thread, then what the hell does it matter is someone does or does not like the color or not? Or if multiple people have said the same thing, but in different words? It's their damn opinion and they are entitled to it!

It's the owner's car, money, time, and effort put into making it what it is and as long as he is happy with what he has created, that's all that matter anyway.

Anytime someone goes outside the box, he should be open to criticism... whether it be positive or negative. OP posted a pic of a random TL that is not recognized on here. Well, I've been on here long enough to know that mods comes in cycles. Even myself I've been prone to saying I will never do something, then a year later, it's on the car. So I guess I'm a little more kind when I see something I'm not that into. I've always chosen to be "tactful" in displaying my opinion and generally do live by the whole "if you have nothing nice to say...". Like when I see a baby...if it ain't cute, I say nothing, if it is...I'll say "cute kid".

Plus, I've been on the receiving end of putting a lot of effort and time into a mod and it really sucks to get cut down when I decide to share it on the forum etc...doesn't mean everyone has to love it, but I do remember being pretty disappointed with responses when people just chimed in that it sucks, or were just repeating what someone else said.

I will say this, and I appreciate the positive comment,...I am in that circle of friends with Aaron, Austin and the band of merry miscreants... and I've gotta say that I love em! I was one of the first ones to say I did dig the color of that group, but I can understand that they don't. All good to me!

Shoot, I even texted with Bi today trying jokingly to convince him to go white on the wheels next time!

Anyway, all the anger and beef, for the most part, if you guys didn't have preconceived notions about each other, you'd realize how much you all have in common. Shoot, Dpat and I went through that in Justin's thread...and Anil and I broke new ground and haven't argued in like 6 months.

Just remember, on the interwebz we're ALL the smartest and coolest and wittiest and wisest...
