TL Detailing pictures + TSX/TL Photoshoot
So I got an A-Spec lip from Randy@PerformanceAcura and I put it on the other day. I decided it was such a nice day so I ended up doing a full detail on the car.
I began washing the entire car around 1pm, after the wash I put the lip on.
Here's the lip installed. Randy is probably the best person I've ever dealt with for parts and customer service. I have no doubt that if you need any Acura parts he is the one guy to go to. Big thanks to him!
So then the detailing went underway. I didn't take many photo's along the way. No before/afters either, but Randy knows how bad my car was before. haha. Sorry about the repetitive angle, that's where the seat is in my garage, and damn it's tiring detailing for 11 hours.
So here is how reflective black can get
close up
I finished this whole process around 12:30 am. That's about 11 hours on the car, with a stop for dinner and misc. breaks.
As I was sitting enjoying some beats, drinking a cold beer and staring at my work this clown shows up on my driveway
So then at around 1:15 am we decided to venture for a photo shoot. We shot until 4am.
We went to Clifton first, got kicked out by the Police and then headed to the Casino. Hope you guys enjoy.

Thanks for the comments everyone.
I would have wore pants but man it was hot that day.
This is what I used
2 Bucket wash with P21s
Meguires Clay Bar
Optimum Polish with Orange Cutting Pad
Menzerna Intensive Polish with white polishing pad (only on some parts of car)
RMG with bonnet
Pinnacle Liquid Souveran with blue pad
Also did the interior and cleaned inside all fender wells/breaks/suspension/links
And ya the TSX is more photogenic it being much more modified than my TL.

For a second, when I scrolled down to the top of this picture, I thought it was a shot of the TSX wheels.
Is it just me or the Ferris wheel, and the TSX's wheels look alike? LOL

I know I could have done better as the Optimum left some micro marring that could be seen upon VERY close inspection under direct sunlight only. But like you said, I got lazy cause it's my own car.
I could have taken it out if I used the Menzerna on the who car but I got so lazy and only used it for the rear bumper/quarter panel. haha

Great reflection shots!
I don't get why you used the Optimum Polish on an orange (light cut) pad and the Menz Intensive Polish on a white (polishing) pad? Is this a typo? Normally, you use the Optimum Polish on a white (polishing) pad and the Menz Intensive Polish on the orange pad. The Optimum Polish and orange pad will definitely leave some micro marring.

From what I got, the Optimum is a more abrasive so I use it on a light/medium cut pad to get out the heavier scratches and use the Menz on the polish pad to get the fine scratches out? or are you suppose to use less abrasive product on rougher pads.
Is this wrong?

BTW, $290 for the front lip seems pricey. I got the entire kit for ~$550

to drive over the border, buy it and pay acura to get it installed and it will be cheaper.
Thanks again everyone for the kind words! I will be detailing that TSX soon as well, then an Audi A4 (black as well, horrible paint condition) and maybe a CSX soon.
I'll post some pics of those hopefully.
