it has potential, but it needs alot of work, I don't think a mild drop will make it look good, that thing needs to be slammed to even catch my eye

no way in hell im changing these breaks anytime soon.... flat black caliper paint and thats about it for a while
like i said... slowwwwly this time... i miss the f*k out of my 3G... i see my neighbors car all the time, and it makes me said (3G-s just like mine)

I guess payment wise you made a good choice...everything else though was just not what I expected. Especially when there's a turbo in the works for the type-s. Nonetheless, Congrats! Hope you can enjoy it like you did the 3G.

Im not a fan of the 4g. As mentioned above it has alot of potential. The one thing I cant stand about the 4G is that the navi is no longer touch screen. Do you know how long it takes to punch in a address? I dunno as long as your happy with it! Good luck with the new ride.

congrats on the new car!!!...Still hard finding myself liking the 4th gen body style over what I have now, but Its def. way tech advanced then the 3rd gen!....Lets hope Acura(Honda) keeps advancing!!!...

well, first off...congratulations Allon on the new ride. I am pretty sure you will enjoy it. Your TL-S was definetly sick and had the chance to see it. 
I am sure you will make the 4G look two times better than your 3G.

Did you have the original hood laying around to swap back to take to the dealer? No way you had to paint it in a couple days.
Also...if they were gonna give you the 19's on the black one for the same price you shoulda swapped out rims but kept the white color!
Great timeline...you sir, are a master of cleanliness.
I like to see the transition from dubmaster ford to good first attempt to a very classy 3G type s.
Looking forward to what you'll bring to the table. I would be all over a 4G, but it has to be the Mayan Bronze.
Also...if they were gonna give you the 19's on the black one for the same price you shoulda swapped out rims but kept the white color!

i traded them with a member during my crazy part out... only thing left on the car was aspec kit, and rainguards...dealer gave me $1k more on the trade in, if i left the a-spec kit...
^ I kept all my stock parts, and EVERY box and manual from every aftermarket part
I swapped everything out last weekend... did the whole switch in about 60 hours STRAIGHT, with little to no sleep.... those who came by to pick up parts, can testify to that... i was jacked up on coffee and redbull.. and only took a (1) hour nap every night
The thing with the 19's... its a STICKER option, so you cant just swap... you have to get the Model SH-AWD w/ Technology Package w/ HPT (Hi performance tires) which include the 19's... it was only $1g more.. i should have done it, but then id need to get winter tires... booo

I just realized... the dealership TOOK OFF MY ACURAZINE.COM STICKER !!!!!!
and they didnt replace the ACURA or the TL badge from the trunk... shit.. the car is looking sexy as hell, even in stock form.... sigh.....
and they are asking $31,995 for my car

the SH-AWD... pretty much makes this an entirely DIFFERENT car to drive..
PLUS, maybe you guys didnt notice... no power steering.... its ELECTRIC steering... and its got a system similar to BMW active steering, but this is more linear.... higher speeds, tighter steering...
much easiser on my deltoids than my 08 type-s , which was like turning the wheel of a 1600's wooden vessel ship

I figured if they were giving you such a killer deal on your TL they'd make up for it with the sale of your old one. Probably will end up selling for 30 with some bargaining and still making 5 grand putting the sale of the SH-AWD to you 42 really. I was looking at some 4G's at the dealership yesterday (had to stop by to order the doorlatch cable, long story...actually, short story, my roommate is an ogre and has an american car and pulled the handle really hard!) and I have to say, they had a mayan bronze...with that peanut butter interior...it was VERY nice. Very nice upgrade!

^ the rain gaurds were "sold" to somebody locally, but when i couldnt get them off, i just left them on
i didnt want to break the rainguard, or leave some terrible glue/tape marks all over the door trim... so i just left them on... the weather mats were sold, sorry... in fact ,everything sold, very very quickly.. just left with the rims

i wonder if the electric steering is adaptable to the 3g.....id like to swap out the junk system. i know the base model 4g has the same subframe as the type s. either way goodluck with it bro, cant wait to see it.
